Food Safety Guidelines before using fruits and vegetables.

By washing fruits and vegetables only with water, pesticides cannot be washed out properly, and when these fruits and vegetables are consumed, then these insecticides enter into our body which causes diseases related to liver and kidneys.
According to the Food Safety Guidelines issued recently by the Delhi government, we are going to share with you how to safely use fruits and vegetables.

How to Wash Fruits and Vegetables
• Soak fruits and vegetables in vinegar water solution for 5-10 minutes and wash them well.
• Wash vegetables like cauliflower, spinach, broccoli and cabbage with hot water containing two percent of ordinary salt.
• Wash vegetables like carrots and eggplants with tamarind water solution.
• For those fruits and vegetables which have shiny wax covering, for them, take a cup of water, half a cup of vinegar, a table spoon of baking soda and grapes extract, mix them well and sprinkle it over the fruits and veggies and leave it for 1 hour. After 1 hour wash them well and use it.
