How important this machine is for the small scale dairy farmers

After milking, the milk temperature is approximately 37 ° C and if stored on normal temperature, the number of germs starts increasing rapidly. Therefore, milk is cooled to prevent milk spoilage. Different types of BMCs (Bulk Milk Coolers) are available for large scale dairy farmers while there is no special machine available for cooling milk for farmers at small scale. Therefore, the initiative has been taken by Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Ludhiana to create Milk Cooling machine for small scale farmers.

At what temperature, milk should be cooled?

According to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), it is necessary to bring milk at least 4 degrees Celsius immediately after the milking.

What is the benefit of this machine? Is it useful for the farmers?

With the help of this electro powered machine, after milking in evening milk can be stored for next morning i.e. 12 hours without spoilage. Due to the special structure of the machine it is easy to clean and it is easier to take from one place to another. Its capacity is 40 liters. It is useful for dairy farmers whose one time production is 40-100 liters.

From where can I buy this machine?

Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana has made an effort to provide it with Chadha Sales Private Limited, Delhi. To purchase the machine, you can contact Chada Sales Private Limited, Delhi.
