Green Peas are a vegetable crop. The main types of diseases which can affect the pea crop are:
1. Powdery Mildew: In this white patches covering large areas appear on stem, leaves, pods and branches.
2. Rust: In this reddish- brown, yellowish, pustules shaped patches appear on the lower side of the leaves during December and January period. In the latter stages of the crop, this disease is more dangerous.
Precaution: To control these diseases, spray Indofil M-45 @ 400 gm in 200 liter of water per acre.
