Necessary things should be kept in mind to control pest and diseases in poly house:
• Do not wear yellow color clothes while entering poly house as yellow color attracts more insects.
• Hang the yellow pheromone traps at uniform distance. Pheromone traps helps to stick the insect on the yellow card.
• Hang light traps in the poly house.
• When the pheromone traps gets full with sticked insects then destroy the insects by taking it away from the poly house.
• Shake the plants every day with a stick as this will help to fly the insects from the plants and gets stick to pheromone trap.
• Repair the poly house sheet with sellotape if it gets cracked.
• Irrigation or fertilizer should be given by drip irrigation.
